First star of the game Thursday against the Sherbrooke Phoenix, Valentin had four assists in a 6-1 victory. The Los Angeles Kings’ pick now has 49 points in 36 games this season.

François Tremblay, the Victoriaville Tigres' goaltender, is the third star of the week. In 3 wins, he maintained an average of 1.67 and a save percentage of .952. Wednesday, against the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles, Tremblay made 42 saves in a very tight game. Sunday, he stopped all Acadie-Bathurst shots for his fourth shutout of the season and his tenth consecutive win. He is now tied with Philippe Cadorette, of the Baie-Comeau Drakkar, for the most wins this season with 26.
