Serguei GRIGORKIN
Scout - Urals and West Siberia regions
Serguei, a famous defenseman at Traktor (Chelyabinsk) of the 1970s, many times turned to be a real help for his team. When his player career was nearing its end he realized that he could give his team a helping hand once again, this time as a coach.
Throughout his career he worked with a number of Russian elite hockey teams, including Traktor, Metallurg and Avangard and took them to victories in the USSR and Russian championships in 1993, 1994, 2004, 2006 and 2007.
Serguei also has a managerial skill, which he proved as General Manager at Gazovik (Tyumen). As a scout he started at the NHL Tampa Bay Lightning and then continued at the KHL Central Scouting Bureau.
